Why do I think learning is important:
Learning is part of the fabric of a successful & meaningful life.
We’re hard-wired to grow through learning.
Favourite quote:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our Darkness, that most frightens us.”
Marianne Williamson

One of the coolest things I have learnt in the last year is…
How huge our potential is to make a difference in one another’s lives.

Why do I think learning is important:
Albert Einstein once said that “wisdom is not a product of schooling but of the lifelong attempt to acquire it,” reminding us that learning is something we continue throughout life. For all of us, learning is a steady process of building and refining our thinking skills as we reflect on what we already know and explore better ways to reach our goals. It helps us make sense of situations, understand one another more clearly and respond more effectively in our everyday interactions. When we stay curious and open to new ideas, even the more challenging ones, learning becomes less of a task and more of an ongoing journey of growth and discovery.
Favourite quote:
“So be sure when you step, step with care and great tact. And remember that life’s A Great Balancing Act. And will you succeed? Yes! You will, indeed! (98 and ¾ percent guaranteed) Kid, you’ll move mountains.” Dr. Seuss
When I’m not working, you could find me…
On the hiking trails, floating on a dam or hanging in a hammock with my hearts-person and my dog.
One of the coolest things I have learnt in the last year is…
This remains a work in progress, but with the help of some amazing mentors I am becoming more aware of the value of reflection, balance and being fully engaged in everyday moments rather than constantly rushing through them. I am continuing to grow in how I think about purpose and how I choose to focus my energy, with the aim of living more deliberately and meaningfully.
